Be aware in ecstacy

It was Aravindh's birthday. Myself, ganesh, lokesh & promod went to aravindh's house around 10 am. We were chatting to go somewhere like movie, city centre, spencer... on that day.

Aravindh's mom prepared dinner for us. We finished it with a hot soup. The dinner was very good. We chose the idea of going for a movie. It was noon around 1 pm. There were no shows at that time and there weren't any good movies running at that time.

We decided not to go for movie. So, we went to pramod's house to spend the time by watching some movie in computer. We reached his house at 1:30 pm. He brought us some snacks and we watched youtube videos & songs in net. We spent 2 hrs in his house.

Pramod gave an idea of going to beach. Everyone liked that idea. It was around 3:30 pm. Beach was about 12 kms from his house. Aravindh brought his bike. Pramod brought 2 & we started to move. We reached the beach in 25 min. We were in the sea shore for 15 min. Then we moved a little inside.

I was in ecstacy & i moved further inside. The water level was upto my chest. When pramod saw me, he too accompanied me. We took pictures in cell phones. Aravindh & lokesh warned us not to go deep. But we didn't listen. We stayed there & enjoyed the tides. We both know to swim. That confidence made us to go further deep.

Ganesh watched us enjoying & he too wanted to experience it. We three stood holding each other hands tightly. The water level reached till neck.

I said to him, this could be the happiest day i ever spent with friends. Ganesh & pramod are taller than me. The tides were coming huge.

One tide was coming to our head. We realised that we are being pulled by sea. So, we started coming out. Pramod moved quickly outwards. I struggled, as i was standing on the tip of the toe. But the sea pulled us more. Ganesh couldn't hold & he doesn't know to swim.

He immediately caught my body & we both started to struggle. He didn't let me swim as he needed help. I was locked. The tide smashed us & we were under the water for few seconds. I was struggling to come out of him.

I decided to escape from him first. I have no other choice than to push him aside so that i could swim. I knew that he can't swim, but I pushed him aside.

In a matter of second, I swimmed by free style & came outwards. Then I turned & watched ganesh going inside. Pramod & myself caught his hands. But we couldn't pull him, since we were also being pulled. In the mean time aravindh & lokesh watched us struggling & came to help us.

We four pulled ganesh. Union is Strength. We reached the shore soon. Nothing happened to ganesh. Everybody is fine.

I realised my mistake, that one shouldn't risk life in enjoyment. Because of my ecstacy, we almost risked our lives.

But we enjoyed the day. We decided to celebrate our every birthday by coming to beach, without taking risks. "Ecstacy is the fullest attainment of joy". Live & let others live in ecstacy.
